SCREENAGERS:
GROWING UP IN THE DIGITAL AGE

Are you watching kids SCROLL through life, with their rapid-fire thumbs and a six-second attention span?

Did you know that Canadian kids spend an average of 9 hours in front of screens (TVs, cell phones, tablets and video games) EACH DAY?

Many studies have proven that kids are spending less time being physically active, not getting enough sleep and there is an increase in eyesight problems in young people.

This one our film probes into family life and depicts messy struggles over cell phones, social media and video games with a lack of attention to academics. Through poignant and funny stories, along with insights from authors, psychologists and brain scientists, SCREENAGERS reveals how tech time impacts kids' development. it offers solutions on how adults can EMPOWER kids to best navigate the digital world and maintain a healthy life balance.
