Drew Boyce, Vice-Principal of Bath Public School and Amherst Island Public School, was recently awarded the inaugural 2026 Ontario Teachers' Insurance Plan (OTIP) Vice-Principal Award.
The award, presented in partnership with the Ontario Principals' Council (OPC), honours leaders in Ontario's English public school system who go above and beyond to create caring, vibrant, and innovative school environments.
Mr. Boyce was nominated last year while he was Vice-Principal of Amherstview Public School.
"I've been very fortunate to work alongside incredible people in Limestone who care deeply about students, families, and their communities," says Mr. Boyce. "When we take care of each other and create the conditions for people to thrive, we can show up and bring our best for kids. I see this recognition as a reflection of that shared work."
The video below, produced by OPC, showcases Mr. Boyce's impact, along with the support from students and the school community.
Congratulations, Mr. Boyce!
